Quality of Danizerock

We take the quality very seriously.

To ensure full safety to our customers, we carry out anti-mite tests, measure mite allergens, and conduct skin irritability tests for the fabric.

■Mite penetration test for the futon (cover) fabric

The fabrics used on the futon side and the cover undergo dust mite penetration prevention tests. These tests have confirmed that the fabrics effectively prevent the passage not only of mature mites but also of larvae.

Sample mites: Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (supplied by institutions affiliated with the Tokyo Women’s Medical College)
Conditions: 24-hour observation at a constant temperature of 25 ?C and 75%RH, in complete darkness
Test-implementing institution: Viable Co., Ltd.

■Mite allergens contamination measurement of futon’s inner batting

The products undergo special high-temperature treatment before shipping. Later, the products (inner batting) are tested for mite allergen contamination. These tests have confirmed that no mite contamination is present inside the futons (cotton).

Subject items: a total of 2 grams of cotton, collected from 6 sites inside a futon that has undergone special high-temperature treatment.
Measuring method: Sandwich ELISA
Detection level: < 0.5 ng/ml
Measured at: LCD Allergy Research Institute

■Mite penetration test to check the stitching of used futons

The stitching of the futons that our customers have used undergoes dust mite penetration tests to confirm that the stitching still retains its anti-mite effects. Even after extended use, the futon’s stitching is confirmed to remain taut, maintaining penetration prevention effects against both adult mites and larvae.

■Mite allergens contamination measurement of futons (inner batting) used by customers

We conduct mite allergen contamination tests for futons (inner batting) customers have used. These tests confirmed that, even after extended use, no mite contamination existed inside the futons (cotton) and that the products retained their mite-prevention effects.

■Human skin patch test for the fabric used in our products

Testing institution: Living Science Institute

*Purpose of the test
Since our products come into contact with people during use, we confirmed, as part of our safety tests, whether or not they caused irritability in the human skin.
*Evaluation method
To confirm the presence or absence of irritation symptoms (erythemas, edemas, and/or blisters) at the site of the skin where the tested item came into contact, using the Japan Patch Test Study Group’s Criteria (Japanese Criteria 1).
*Test results
As shown in the Evaluation Table and photos, a 48-hour closed patch test on the human skin induced no primary irritability (after removal of adhesive tape) in any of the 20 subjects tested.

The above is an extract from the relevant sections of the Test Report.
The results shown above are for tests on irritability caused to the subjects' skin. They do not necessarily indicate that the products do not cause irritability in all individuals.
